Dear Harley Lovers,

Recently on an adventure into Lunch Land before the manicure after the pedicure, hunger overtook me! All I wanted were some piping hot french fries. So me and Senor Security decide to venture into The Canton House on Riverstone Parkway. Booo No French Fries on the menu. Therefore we decided to challenge the BoDocks Persona to a duel.He had been in there before accompanied by
Mr. Ray "All American Handyman" Hollowell, (1st Impressions Home Upgrades and Repair 404-259-0927).I dont believe they ate..anyway.. My daughter also frequented the Joint to play a bit of Poker. But this was my first time and I wanted FOOOD!


As we enter the smokey dark Bar and Grill, I am pleased with its sense of classy ruggedness and can't wait to sit right by the pool tables across from the jukebox! positioning is everything.


Now on 1st Impression, yes This is A BIKER BAR! Mr. Ray is a BIKER! I am not yet a Biker! So what! Moving on.. next The Ultimate Blonde Bombshell Biker Babe walks over to greet us with a personality that only I can compete with GO Team! It did not matter what I ate, her Smile was worth the visit. She called me sweet cheeks and that became her name.. She is officially Sweet Cheeks.


I'm still hungry at this point. I look at the menu which is Hard Core American! Burger, Fries, Cheese and Grease ! I want it All, but I settle on an order of Loaded Fries (6.50) and a side salad with ranch (2.75) and of course a pitcher of America's Finest Budweiser! Yes! Mama!


While waiting on the memory of the food, lets talk about this jukebox.. Top of The Line.. millions of Songs! Go Team Universal Appeal! Here comes Sweet Cheeks!


In front of me I now have a plate with fries, chili, bacon(which I normally do not eat) Cour cream, cheese of course, jalapenos and it looks like my arteries are going to have a nervous breakdown! Only complaint I have as I scarfed it down is,, can I get more Jalapenos next time...Yummy... Can you believe I even had the nerves to Eat the fresh iceberg (noeggs) salad last.. Ha Ha Great with Budweiser!


In the end, the truth is how come such great CUSTOMER SERVICE can't be achieved everywhere.


Conclusion:


I would spend all My Entertainment Budget anywhere With Service With a Smile.. Enjoy my Money BoDock!

  How disappointed we are that we have to Write this Tragic Review of an African American Owned Food Service Venue! This Is Not IT!

              We would like to begin by Thanking The Sista's
G.E.M.S! Girls  Excelling in Middle School !
Go Team for Inviting Yours Truly and Lady Dana to their Event Yesterday Morning. (We will remember the School name later, It Happens!) Wherein we expressed our appreciation for the Beautiful Black Woman and Acknowledged the Career and Educational Choices which we made for ourselves thus far and how we financially support ourselves.But I was missing my Girl Scout Cookies. In others words the Day  Began  Great! Thank You Lady Bianca Coffen for trusting us to Speak to YOUR GIRLS! GO TEAM ...

Afterwards:

        We are riding around Downtown Atlanta searching for the Ideal  Soul Food Restaurant to Celebrate our enjoyment  over the moments we spent sharing with  over 100 young women (6th Graders) How Divinely Stunning we all are as Black Women  and how we Love each other enough to Respect and Enjoy Communicating with each other and How strong we can be as Women of Supreme  Empowerment. That was the plan...

That was bad grammatical skills, too much use of the word, and ... It Happens..

Continued:
  After calling, searching online and living social failed us, we made a conscious decision to sacrifice travel time, gas expenses and our appetites to drive 30 miles to This is Not It 3523 Camp Creek Parkway East Point, Georgia 404-629-1114 No Team!

First Impression:
     Generally we were excited , the place smelled Great, It was Clean and The Servers were neat, healthy Attractive sisters who Knew just how to let out That Fake Smile as Practiced daily I assume.

   
Being that we had not been there, ever , it took us a bit longer to make it through the line because there was sooo much to choose from that looked quite tasty. We giggled chuckle, our moths watered and it was fun stuff for women, then I noticed the discontent of the Servers face, team members and in general the atmosphere of the place had changed. Hmmm. Why?

Upon finalizing her decision to have a 2 piece Talapia Dinner , the servers asks her would she like the last 2 pieces in the pan or would she rather have fresh which takes only 3 minutes. Of course she Said FRESH< WHO WOULDNT, shortly after that I heard teeth smack and saw the grill operators exasperated facial expression.  But its ok . 3 minutes and we get to grub!

Moving still forward.

We sit at the table  and over walk Ms. Tia. Such Perfect eyeshadow and EyeBrow art that I could not resist Complimenting her.. Only to find out that Her image is distorted by her Degrading of a Black Woman Attitude. Tell me why Our Drinks were handed to us across the table , stretched across our food and Still Dana had not received her 3 minute Fish 15 minutes ago. As we sit there sampling out mac n chz to Lady Dana bcuz shes starving,  a table of reasonably dressed Caucasians sit next to us where Ms. Tia  hurries across the room to greet them with the biggest Imma Kiss your Butt for the 20% tip I know you will give me if I act like Ms. Cellie Face i had ever witnessed. But we just watched. then the same Lazy Sista who did not respect us as customers enough to walk around to each of us to place our drinks on the table , Cordially serves each member of there table , walking around the table and placing them ever so gently on the table in front of them.

 WE WERE STUNNED!  Still no food...Eventually after Loosing Our appetites and watching Ms. "Lazy, Black Woman Hating," Tia return to our table where confidently, in her best Kiss my Grits Voice, She tells us that she has nothing to do with the messed up order, and that the manager would be handling us from here on out. And walks off.

OMG!

We have just been turned into the Bad Girls Club! And made a target for Smacking Teethed Customers and Rolling Eyes employees. This is Terrible. Black on Black Crime . Why Black people Did we just get mistreated because we wanted the same treatment from a black woman that she gave a white Woman. In public while doing her job, Providing Customer Service for the Paying Customer!

Personal reflection Notes:

      See, this is what happens way to often when we go out to eat and its an establishment located in urban territory, catering to an urban target market or patronized mostly by people of multi-ethnic decent. the customer service is less than desirable. Its a Shame I can go into a Soul Food (chuckle , chuckle they call it Homestyle Country Food) Restaurant in Canton, Georgia, Cherokee County and get smiles, thanks yous and speed , but let me spend more money ( we all know soul food is not cheap) at This Is Not It 3523 Camp Creek Parkway East Point Georgia 404-629-1114 and all we will get is disrespected by Black Women,  Like Ms. Tia ,ignored By management  ( Who by the way never came to the table but hurriedly refunded the one meal which was never received and would should not have paid a dime) and our appetites  ruined in one trip during lunch time November 16, 2011. And to think I actually interviewed with that company ... Now I know why I was not hired as a Manager, because plenty of This staff would be unemployed and my people gotta pay bills.

In Conclusion!

To Ms. Tia, her fellow servers except for One who gave us the TOGO boxes, The  Sorry, Need to go to McDonald's Management Staff and Onlookers who knew we were correct but are complacent to bad service, of you at THIS IS NOT IT 3523 Camp Creek Parkway Should be the last place you patronize if you want Your Hard or Easily Earned money to be Appreciated. And, Ms. Tia,  We are gonna need you to tighten it up, because the only other place you can work with that RESENTFUL Hateful Personality is Waffle House. Trust Me , I know...

Help us to STOP BLACK ON BLACK MONEY CRIMES! EXPECT THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEREVER YOU SHOP AND SMILE WHEN I GIVE YOU MONEY!

Good Day Soy Sauce Lovers,

          Don't you just love Chinese Fast Food? Well, against the wishes of my physician, on occasion I have to fill my stomach with broccoli and beef with fried rice doused with extra soy sauce and salt depending of course on the quality of the food, a gigantic portion of french fries as an appetizer and finishing with an ice cold dose of imitation sugar filled, highly caffinated, artficially flavored, lupus inducing beverage of some sort. Yummy!
         On this Sweltering September day in Tampa Florida, I descide to make a run for the local Chinese Fastfoodery , China Wok, even though I already know what I'm walking into, but I decide maybe today will be different. Wrong Again. Here is my Evaluation which I really did not want to write because I know it is a family owned minority business which supposedly brings revenue and commerce into our community.

This is to say that we have to report an issue of TCS!

Customer Service Evaluation

What was your reaction when you entered China Wak oops Wok?

I don't smell a thing. Thats odd. I'd expect a restaurant to smell like food or household cleaner when I enter. This one had a stale lack of movement and life type of air. So I glance around to see poorly written specials on  hospital white walls, four standard institutional  tables  and a countertop which apon lay a stack of paper menus, random condiments and as always The Lucky Bamboo. Even the Bamboos looked depressed. They wanted a better home too.

How were you greeted?

After waiting at the counter for  approx 3-5 minutes with no Hello from the back, well be right with you or welcome to our extremely lifeless restarant where we are happy to serve you our food manufactured in despair or anything. Eventually I look up to see"Her" turtle trotting to the counter top with the biggest, most apparent frown on her face. As USUAL!

 How was the food?

Funny you should ask, well it never got that far. I asked her politely what the specials were, and after she smacked her teeth she informed me of a wing special that would be coming from the tray of chicken that she (refrys) wait a minute. You put those back in the oil and serve them. Yes . ok then

Honestly Speaking,
I had previously ordered from this establishment or came in to see if the environment was different and there was only one time. This day me and my daughter actually ate in and this is why.
Father and son where working the counter and Dad was training his 8 year old son how to run the business. So they get thumbs up and we ordered. The young man was polite, accurate and even cracked a bit of a smile but I suspect they dont do that much where they are sleeping.
Moving On..
If you have visited this location and had similiar bouts with T.C.S.--> Terrible Customer Service at The China WOK on BEARSS. I'd Love to hear from you. Comment, Share, and Change! I want to know if its just me.. I'm just saying....

Solutions:

1.Let the son quit elementary school, home school him and let him work the counter
2.Move around the corner from your business instead of living in South Tampa and learn to respect the people who pay your Mortgage.
3. Hire a Hood Chick to run your register at least then It will seem normal and therefore acceptable behavior. That would make for onsite entertainment and increased sales...just a suggestion.
4. Sell Sell Sell, Hey take the money you have made and start all over in a neighborhood which you deam is worthy of your appreciation and patronage because obviosly this one doesnt.

Note to Owners: I am sure that being so close to the University of South Florida has to do with a major portion of your revenue. College attendees come and go and are so starving from all the hard work that it doesnt matter much to them what you feed them , how you serve them or if you care about what it took for them, their parents, or benefactors to earn the money which they spend in your establishment. But these contributors do. Also it does not matter how good your product is, if no one wants to buy what are you going to do. I mean the food isnt that great, its convenient but damn do we always have to be mistreated by your help! Thats just rude and Inconsiderate.  Your customers are the heart of your business especially a restaurant. There is a chinese place in close proximaty to your and guess what , I for one dont mind walking for my Big Box of Fries and walking it off afterwards. Its a shame when people form other cultures open their business in neighborhood predominated by another culture and instead of learning from them, and becoming part of thier infrascructure they instead opt to bleed them dry and not even provide a bandage with a smile! For Shame!
